About

Dave RobertsI do real estate…and construction…and computers…and gardening…and the web..and cooking. I spend some of my other time writing for my sonoma.net site and Sonoma County Blog. This site, Sebastopol Country, is to gather some of my observations about real estate, architecture, landscapes, and the occasional fixer. I’m fickle enough to fall in love with lots of old buildings, so I probably spend more time than I should looking at peeling paint, sagging floorboards, and sway back roof ridges.  Still, I wouldn’t have it any other way.  If new homes where everything works perfectly and the floor plan is just right are your thing, you might find me writing about that as well.

The core content here will always be about homes, appreciation of the land we all love, and trying to have fun with all the wacky and interesting things going on around us.  Feel free to send in contributions and suggestions.  This site could very easily be a multi person project if writers emerge who want to contribute and have interesting voices….not that mine is necessarily interesting, mind you. It’s just mine.
